Due to the coronavirus pandemic we are postponing this event to another time in the future (TBC) when we can be sociable and carefree together in the woods. Keep an eye out!

The Woodland Cafe will be open serving food and drinks from 9.30am

  • Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) limited walk numbers, so reserve your space
    TBC am – Forest Bathing for Families (all ages)
    TBC pm Forest Bathing (ages 10+)
    Join Emma (Nature & Forest Therapy guide) on an invigorating connective walk with the more-than-human world. Her practice of guided immersive walks in the natural environment is taken from the roots of the Japanese practice ‘Shinrin-yoku’, and promotes wellness, health of ourselves and each other.   • Earthwalks – TBC am & TBC pm limited numbers, so reserve your space (all ages)
    Mark will take you on 45- 60 minute sensory Earthwalk in the North Woods.
    An Earthwalk is a sensory nature experience designed to immerse you in the natural world. Explore the woods in a new magical way and feel nature in your hearts.
  • Wild Food Walk with Myrtle – Timing TBC – limited numbers, so reserve your space (all ages)
    Join this gentle wild food exploration to meet and learn about seasonal wild edible plants. You’ll be introduced to Myrtle’s sensory practice for safe plant identification and an immersive experience, learn about history and folklore, wild recipe ideas and preservation techniques.   • Basketry with James

  • Spoon Carving with Martin
    Learn traditional skills in this drop-in spoon making experience where you will interact with wood, tools and people. Martin say’s when we engage our hands we connect with our primal bodily self. Learn more of Martin’s work at DevonWoodWorks.

  • Meditation and Qigong Limited numbers, no entry once session has started

    Sacredgeometree (with Sitke) will hold you on a shamanic sound journey to connect with the  universe of life within your body so you can step outside and connect deeper with the magical messages of nature and spring awakening. Sitke is a visionary artist and holds shamanic healing and ceremonies, you can read more at Sacredgeometree


Spaces are limited for some activities so please reserve your place by emailing with your name, contact number and your requested numbers to avoid disappointment.

All ages welcome, wearing sturdy boots advisable (take a drink on walks)
