Join The Woodland Presenters and Direction of Flow for our first ever wondrous woodland treasure hunt around the North Woods. With forestry clues, hidden landmarks, woodland rhymes, perplexing puzzles, nature workshop for both adults and children to enjoy.

Glade Bar (10am – 4pm) serving hot/cold drinks, waffles, cakes and snacks (open to the public)

10.30am – 12pm Paper Bird Workshop with professional wildlife sculpture Zack Mclaughlin from Paper & Wood (@paperandwood) guiding you to create your very own 2D paper birds (an item needed for your treasure time capsules). Zack creates nature inspired sculptures from mixed media, mainly paper and wood (www.paperandwood.co.uk)

12 – 2pm The Great Glade Treasure Hunt with Direction of Flow (@directionofflow). Follow the carefully constructed nature trails, searching for clues, solving puzzles, finding hidden treasures for your time capsules whilst learning about the trees and fauna in the North Woods.

2 – 3pm Nature Creative Workshops making nature sticks, nature hangers plus more nature crafts in store from all the treasures you have found.

3pm The Grand Treasure Hunt Prize Giving Ceremony

3.30 – 4pm Beekeeper Talk with Emily from BlackBeeCoombe (@BlackBeeCoombe), she’ll be explaining all about beekeeping, what a beekeeper does to maintain a hive, insights into a bees life and how we can help them (free entry)
