The woods make
The Glade is a woodland spot in the awe inspiring North Woods. Our aim is to innovate the type of activities that happen in forest, and bring a wide range of people into contact with trees.
We help arrange bespoke events for a variety of occasions from bush craft workshops, private parties, music gigs, to week-long camps, lectures, retreat camps, pop-up restaurants, slide show viewings, silent discos and oh so much more. We’re very open minded and game for a challenge and welcome creative thoughts. Bring your idea to us, we’d be happy to speak with you.
We also put on our own bedazzling events, so be sure to sign up to be kept in the loop or keep your eyes peeling and ears open on our social media accounts.
Oh, the Nest what can we say. It’s grand and compactable, and ever so cute. It can probably seat up to 50 people, that’s how big it is! This indoor hut, with a large wood burner may we add, can be used for whatever your choosing. Mmm let’s see, giving a talk, holding a course, putting on a show (the acoustics are great), who needs a treatment room or just some intimate space?
This space well it’s whatever you want it to be! Fancy having a woodland workshop, an outdoor yoga session, a band, no a dance area or a home movie screening (we do have all the equipment and can seat about 120). We will create and fashion this area to help realise your vision as best as we can.
With the option of erecting two parachutes this will keep the droplets at bay yet the breeze passing through, or just go on embrace the natural elements.
The Bar and Tree Table
This nifty pop up bar is a great place to store and serve your drinks, whether you’d like it stocked and served by us or to use for yourselves (we can still provide the bar staff and all the glassware should you need, we’ll even do all the washing up). In front we present the grand Tree Table which makes a perfect chatting and nibbles spot.
The Fire Circle
Why not cosy up around the large outdoor fire, whip out an accordion or just listen to the bird song surrounding you. With a mix of wooden stumps and tree benches and a parachute covering, it’s a warming woodland space.
The bush loo is simple, using rain water for the sink, and we compost all the stink.
